579 579 is a general-purpose instant seal pipe sealant that cures into a resistant plastic. Excellent solvent resistance and withstands temperatures to 300°F. Sealing is effective on threaded joints up to 2” in diameter. Lower locking strength secures elbows in any position but permits easy disassembly.
