POLYETHYLENE

LDPE (Low)

HDPE (High)

UHMW (Ultra High)

Polyethylene is the largest volume thermoplastic polymer used today.  It is available in a wide variety of grades and formulations that have an equally wide range of properties.  In general, however, polyethylenes are characterized by toughness, excellent chemical resistance and electrical properties, low coefficient of friction, near-zero moisture absorption, light weight and ease of processing.

Meyer Plastics offers three main classifications of polyethylene materials, according to density:

 Low (LDPE)

High (HDPE)

Ultra High (UHMW)
